When you become an Intelligence Squared member you can spend unlimited time with the world’s most brilliant minds and take part in the most important conversations of our times.

Depending on the plan you choose, you can access exclusive live events and the entire 20-year archive of Intelligence Squared, as well as ad-free Intelligence Squared podcasts with member-only and early content. You’ll also receive free tickets to attend our events in person.

FAQ

You can become a member by buying one of our membership plans via our website. Each of the options (Full Member, or Patron) counts as a membership, so please choose the plan that best suits your needs.

You can also become a Full Member via our iOS or Android app, but it is not currently possible to join as a Patron via the app.
Yes, you can become a member of Intelligence Squared wherever you live in the world. We have members all over the world.
Your membership is active as soon as you have completed the purchase, so you’ll be able to dive into our content straightaway.
Once you purchase a membership you’ll receive instructions on how to share a membership as a gift if this is included in your plan.
You can access the premium, ad-free podcast content via our Membership platform intelligencesquared.com, available on desktop and our iOS and Android apps.
If you have chosen to pay monthly, your membership will renew every month. If you have chosen to pay annually, it will renew every year. In both instances, it will automatically renew unless you decide to cancel.
If you are a Full Member, you can cancel your membership by visiting https://www.intelligencesquaredplus.com. Choose ‘Manage Subscription’ and then select whether you’d like to ‘Pause’ or ‘Cancel’ your subscription.

If you are a Full Member or a Patron, you can watch online events at https://www.intelligencesquaredplus.com on your desktop or via our mobile app.
Yes, of course! If you’d like to take part in conversations live, simply sign into https://www.intelligencesquaredplus.com, tune in to the event when it starts, and send your thoughts, questions and comments in the chat.

If you’d like to submit questions in advance, please send them to membership@intelligencesquared.com with the ‘Question + [name of event]’ in the subject line.
If you are a Full Member, please visit https://www.intelligencesquaredplus.com and log into your account. Click on the image of your profile and navigate to ‘Manage Subscription’, then select ‘Billing Information’ and update your payment method.

If you are a Patron, you can update your billing information by contacting us via membership@intelligencesquared.com to update your billing details.
Please follow the steps below if you’ve realised your payment method has expired or is about to expire: If you are a Full Member, please visit https://www.intelligencesquaredplus.com and log in to your account. Click on the image of your profile and navigate to ‘Manage Subscription’, then select ‘Billing Information’ and update your payment method. If you are a Patron, please contact us via membership@intelligencesquared.com to update your billing details.

Yes, if you’re not able to use your event voucher, you are welcome to share your unique code with a friend or loved one to attend instead.
If you’re a Full Member or Patron, visit Intelligence Squared+ and click ‘Forgot my password’ at the login.
You can claim your discount on tickets by using the unique code you received after completing your free trial. Simply select the event you want to attend, proceed to the checkout and enter the unique code to claim your discount.
Your event voucher is valid for a year from the date of your membership, and it will automatically renew each year of your membership.
It’s very simple to reserve your Patron tickets – simply email membership@intelligencesquared.com. One per event.
