When innovation accelerates, change is both inevitable and constant. But how can organisations, societies, and individuals adapt with resilience?

Former UK chancellor of the exchequer and foreign secretary

Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2022 to 2024 under the Conservative Government. Before that he was Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs from 2018 to 2019. He was Secretary of State for Health from 2012 to 2018 — the longest tenure in that role in British history. From 2010 to 2012, he was Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport, during which time he oversaw the successful delivery of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He has been the Conservative Member of Parliament for South West Surrey since May 2005.

Senior Partner and EMEA Leader for Healthcare & Life Sciences at IBM Consulting

As Senior Partner and EMEA Leader for Healthcare & Life Sciences at IBM Consulting, Angela sits at the intersection of technology, data, and global health strategy. She directs IBM’s Digital, Data, and Analytics teams across European markets, drawing on more than 20 years of international experience transforming health systems, payers, and life sciences companies across the UK, EMEA, and the Americas to deliver sustainable clinical and operational value. Recognised as the 2022 MCA "Thought Leader Consultant of the Year," Angela’s strategic insights extend to major institutional governance. She serves as a Board Member for the King's College Hospital NHS Trust and sits on the Council of the London School of Economics (LSE), where she is also an Emeritus Governor. Prior to joining IBM, she built a distinguished track record at McKinsey & Company, where she spearheaded the Global Health Data Analytics team for population health and led the firm's healthcare practices across Latin America, Spain, and Portugal.
