Speakers: Lawrence Weiner
Lawrence Weiner explains how art is used to pose questions, and expounds his belief that any art placed in public view forces people to speculate about the work's function - "art is basically just asking questions". He says his latest work (that confronts passengers on the ferry to Governor's Island, New York) makes people think that it is special not because of who made it, but because of what thay have made.
