Speakers: Lawrence Weiner
A New Yorker born and raised, Lawrence Weiner’s mission in life is to get straight to the point. It’s a quality you cannot miss in his artwork, in which big ideas are communicated using the minimum of words. In this film, Weiner discusses why he’s against the font Helvetica, and how he came to design his own font. He also takes the viewer on a tour around his studio and gives a sneak preview of projects that are still on the drawing board.
