Speakers: Kazuo Ishiguro
Interview excerpt with Kazuo Ishiguro, who discusses the themes in his 2005 book Never Let Me Go. The book explores the events and feelings that human beings deal with during their lives. The lifespans of the characters in the book are limited to 30 years, and the book explores the compressed way in which the characters go through life's big crises and questions. Ishiguro asks how we face the fact that our time on earth is limited.
