Speakers: Jaron Lanier
Jaron Lanier brings together his literary, technological and musical interests. Whilst looking at various musical instruments, Lanier talks about his career in public speaking and the guru-like image he has maintained. He then looks at the scepticism in society and the pessimism that dictates it. Lanier proposes that one should treat nature and humans separately and that humans must be regarded in superior terms. Furthermore, he believes that we must create an interesting and stimulating world in which to live, and that, for the sake of our own survival creativity and technology must work together.
