Intel/Infoscape

13 Jan 2010

To demonstrate the power of the latest Intel Core i7 processor chip unveiled at CES 2010 last week, Intel brought in a couple of double HD, double-touch touchscreen glass walls.

The touchscreen walls were powered by a single processor chip and were able to pull a staggering 576 live links of information aggregated from over 20,000 different online sources as well as 20 live feeds from sites such as YouTube, Flickr and Twitter. While it's not technology we expect to see at home anytime soon it's certainly an impressive way to showcase the power and speed of the new chips.
