Author, essayist, journalist and founder of newser.com
American author, essayist and journalist Michael Wolff has written a regular column for the magazine Vanity Fair, and is founder of news aggregator newser.com. Wolff was born in New Jersey, and graduated from Columbia College, New York. He was an early Internet pioneer, an experience chronicled in his book Burn Rate (1998), and as a student of the media has witnessed and written about the revolution in news habits. His latest book, The Man Who Owns the News (2008), is an extensive biography of Rupert Murdoch, based on over 50 hours of interview time with the mogul.
