Novelist, journalist and editor
Vendela Vida is an American novelist, journalist, and editor. She has written, Girls on the Verge, And Now You Can Go, and Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name. Her most recent book is The Lovers: A novel. She co-founded and co-edits the monthly periodical The Believer. She is also a co-founder with her husband Dave Eggers of 826 Valencia, a nonprofit organisation that teaches creative writing to children and teens in the United States. She collaborated on the screenplay for the 2009 film Away We Go, directed by Sam Mendes.
