Emeritus Professor of Engineering Design at the University of Edinburgh
Stephen Salter, an inventor and geoengineer specialising in reflectivity and wave generation, is the Emeritus Professor of Engineering Design at the University of Edinburgh. His most notorious invention is the Salter duck wave energy device, and he has investigated the achievement of cloud reflectivity enhancement as a new geoengineering idea. He is also the Specialist Adviser for Aquamarine Power, a wave energy company.
