Film-maker and author of The Book of the Moon
After graduating from the University of Oxford, Rick Stroud worked for Granada TV as Director of Coronation Street and was an Associate Producer on Brideshead Revisited. He also directed the BBC documentary about the life of John Betjeman and the television series Monarch of the Glen. Stroud has receieved BAFTA nominations for his directing work, and has also won an Emmy. His first book, The Book of the Moon was published in 2009. His book with Victor Greg Rifleman - A Front Line Life will be published by Bloomsbury in February 2011.
