Critic and campaigner
Graham Smith is Campaign Manager and Executive Officer of Republic, where he has worked for five years. Republic is an independent pressure group that campaigns for the abolition of the monarchy in favour of a new republican constitution. Smith writes regularly for the Guardian and republic.org. He is studying politics and development with the Open University and his research interests include the use of online tools to widen the scope of political pressure-groups.
