Founder of Intelligence Squared US

A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School, Robert Rosenkranz began his career as a tax lawyer with New York law firm Cahill, Gordon & Reindel and an economist with The RAND Corporation. He is currently CEO of insurance company Delphi Financial Group, and principal of the Acorn (which he founded 25 years ago) and Pergamon families of investment partnerships, and of Rosenkranz & Company, a private equity firm.

As a philanthropist, Rosenkranzbeen involved in many organisations, including Yale University and the Manhattan Institute. In 1985, he established the Rosenkranz Foundation which aims to encourage fresh perspectives and innovation in public policy, higher education and the arts. In 2006, the foundation launched Intelligence Squared US, which presents debates to a live audience in New York City.
