Leading human rights lawyer and author of a recent report on crimes against humanity in Iran
Geoffrey Robertson QC has been counsel in many landmark cases in constitutional, criminal and media law in the courts of Britain and the commonwealth and he makes frequent appearances in the Privy Council and the European Court of Human Rights. He recently wrote a major report about crimes against humanity in Iran and the 1988 secret prison massacres for the Abdorrahman Boroumand Foundation (www.iranrights.org), an organisation dedicated to promoting human rights in Iran.
