Director of the Science Museum
Chris Rapley is a scientist and Director of the Science Museum. He was a scientist on NASA's Solar Maximum Mission before becoming a lecturer at the Department of Space and Climate Physics, and then Professor of Remote Sensing Science at University College London. He was also the Director of the British Antarctic Survey before being appointed the Director of the Science Museum in 2007. Rapley was awarded a CBE in 1999.
