East Asia Team Leader, Christian Solidarity Worldwide
Benedict Rogers is a writer and human rights activist specialising in Asia. He is East Asia Team Leader at the international human rights organization Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW), where he specialises in Burma, Indonesia and North Korea and oversees the organisation’s work in China, Vietnam and Laos. He also serves as Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission, and in 2005 he served as Special Adviser to the Special Representative of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Freedom of Religion Panel, Baroness Cox.
