Jonathan Paris is a London-based foreign affairs analyst specializing primarily on the Middle East, but also writing on Asia, Europe, US foreign policy and international security. He is currently a Non-resident Senior Fellow with the South Asia Center of the Atlantic Council of the US and Associate Fellow at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR) at King’s College London. Earlier this year, he wrote a report entitled Prospects for Pakistan, and also co-authored a report entitled 'Decoding Turkish Foreign Policy Hyperactivity' for the The Washington Quarterly in October 2010 (with Ziya Meral).
Before moving to London in 2001, Paris was a Middle East Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, where he worked on the Middle East peace process. He taught on the Middle East at Yale University, was a Senior Associate Member with the Middle East Centre at St Antony’s College, Oxford, and is a graduate of Yale and Stanford Law School.
