Scottish cyclist who twice broke the world hour record on a home-made bicycle
Graeme Obree is the holder of the 1hr record which he won in 1993 (51.596km) and in 1994 (52.713km), and has twice been World 4000m Pursuit Champion. He lives in Saltcoats, Ayrshire. He has never held a driving license and commutes regularly on his bike complete with mud guards, racks and sometimes a trailer.
