American philosopher, cultural commentator, and essayist
Susan Neiman is Director of the Einstein Forum. She studied philosophy at Harvard and the Freie Universitat Berlin, and has taught philosphy at Yale and Tel Aviv University. She is author of a number of books, including Slow Fire: Jewish Notes from Berlin (1992), The Unity of Reason: Rereading Kant (1994), and Moral Clarity: A Guide for Grown-up Idealists (2009).
