Lecturer and Author
Dr Richard Noble is a lecturer in Fine Arts at Goldsmiths College, London, where he specialises in contemporary art and critical theory. He holds an MSc in Political Philosophy and a PhD from the London School of Economics. Noble has published widely, including The Utopian Body in Antony Gormley's self-titled 2007 book, and Art Since 1900 : A Review Essay in Art Monthly (September 2005).
Noble has previously held the positions of Lecturer at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Visiting Professor at the University of Saskatchewan (1995-1996), and Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Winnipeg (1992-2000).
