Economist
Dambisa Moyo is a Zambian economist. She is a global economic strategist at the investment bank Goldman Sachs in London. Moyo formely worked as a consultant at the World Bank in Washington DC. Moyo has a doctorate in Economics from Oxford University and a Masters from Harvard. She is patron for Absolute Return for Kids, a hedge fund supported children’s charity and author of the book Dead Aid (2009) in which she argues that post-war aid to Africa has not only failed to help development but exacerbated existing problems such as poverty and corruption.
