Historian
Ben Macintyre is an historian and columnist, and is currently Associate Editor at The Times. He is the author of a number of books, including Agent Zigzag (2007), a biography of the Second World War British double-agent Eddie Chapman, which was shortlisted for the Costa Biography Award. His most recent book is Operation Mincemeat (2010), which explores a classic example of British military deception in the Second World War.
