Author
Indian-born author Nikita Lalwani was raised in Cardiff, and released her first novel, Gifted, in 2007. Gifted was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize and shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award. In 2008, Lalwani was nominated for the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year. She has contributed to the Guardian, the New Statesman, and the Observer. She also contributed a chapter to the 2008 book AIDS Sutra: Untold Stories from India.
