Author
Christopher Lloyd is a Cambridge educated author of science-based factual works.. He was a graduate trainee journalist at The Sunday Times, and then became their Innovation Editor. He won the 1994 Texaco award for Science Journalist of the Year.
In January 2001 Lloyd became chief executive of Immersive Education, an education software publishing company based in Oxford. In 2006 he left to travel across Europe with his wife and two children. Traveling inspired him to come up with the concept of What on Earth Happened?.
His latest book What on Earth Evolved? The planet's 100 most successful species, from the birth of life to the present day was published in October 2009.
