Peter Hitchens is a columnist for the Mail on Sunday since 2001 and a contributor to British and American magazines including the Spectator, the New Statesman, Prospect, The National Interest and the American Conservative . Hitchens worked for the Daily Express as a journalist and Deputy Political Editor from 1977-2000. Hitchens has published a number of books, including The Rage Against God (2010), The Broken Compass: How British Politics Lost its Way (2009), A Brief History of Crime (2003) and The Abolition of Britain (1999).
