Emeritus Professor at the London School of Economics

From 1998-2007 John Gray was Professor of European Thought at the LSE. His recent books include Black Mass: Apocalyptic Religion and the Death of Utopia (2008), Straw Dogs: Thoughts on Humans and Other Animals (2003) and False Dawn: The Delusions of Global Capitalism (2002).

A selection of Gray's writings, Gray's Anatomy, was published by Penguin in March 2009. He also writes articles and reviews for The Guardian, The Independent, The New York Review of Books, Harper's Magazine, The New Statesman, The Spectator, The Literary Review and other journals. He is currently Emeritus Professor at the London School of Economics
