Founder of the London School of Cycling
Patrick Field's first job was as a performer. A parallel, preferable income-stream developed, working for cycling magazines, authoring guide books and writing on land-use and technology.
In 1992 he started the London School of Cycling, which teaches adults how to travel by bike, an unprecedented idea in the modern era. Patrick founded the Dunwich Dynamo, an annual night ride from London to the Suffolk Coast. He has completed the Paris-Brest randonnée four times and last October rode from Hackney to Fes in exactly three delightful weeks.
