Professor of Law
Richard Epstein is a distinguished and respected Professor of Law within the American academic community. Born in New York, Epstein attended Columbia University before graduating with first-class honours and cum laude from Oxford and Yale Law Schools respectively.
Epstein began his career at the University of Southern California, and has since held senior posts at the Universities of Chicago and New York Law Schools. His areas of expertise include constitutional law, intellectual property, and property rights. He has been made Adjunct Scholar at the Cato Institute, and the Peter and Kirsten Bedford Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, and is considered one of the most influential legal thinkers of modern times. Epstein has written several books, including Supreme Neglect: How to Revive the Constitutional Protection for Private Property (2008).
