Art writer and curator

Patricia Ellis is an art writer and curator. She has written catalogue texts for museums, publishing houses and galleries, including the Saatchi Gallery, the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Royal Academy, the Museum Het Domain, the Neuer Aachener Kunstverein and the Vanabbe Museum. Ellis has worked with The Saatchi Collection since 1998, before which she held editorial posts with Giancarlo Politi Editore and MAKE. She has contributed to periodicals such as Flash Art, Modern Painters, Beaux Arts, Contemporary, and Metropolis M. Ellis is the author of 100: The Work That Changed British Art, and co-authored Interview With Painting with Gianni Romano, and Newspeak: British Art Now (2010). Ellis has curated 11 international exhibitions including the British exhibitions for the Tirana Biennale 2001, ArtKliasma Moscow 2003, and the Prague Biennale 2005.
