Chairman of DCD Media and openDemocracy.net
David Elstein is chairman of DCD Media, the Broadcasting Policy Group, Luther Pendragon, Screen Digest, and openDemocracy.net. He began his career in broadcasting at the BBC, where he worked on programmes such as The World at War and Panorama. He was previously Chief Executive of Channel 5, Director of Programmes at Thames Television, and Head of Programming for BSkyB. Elstein is also visiting professor at the Universities of Oxford, Stirling, and Westminster.
