Presenter of Radio 4's Today Programme
Evan Davis is a presenter of the BBC Radio 4 Today programme, as well as the presenter of the BBC Two business reality show Dragons' Den, and the Radio 4 weekly business discussion programme, The Bottom Line. Previously, he was the Economics Editor at the BBC.
His book, Public Spending, was published in 1998 and he is co-author of the Penguin Dictionary Of Economics (2003) and the New Penguin Dictionary Of Business (2003). He has won numerous awards for his journalism, including the Work Foundation's Workworld Broadcast Journalist of the Year and the Harold Wincott Foundation's Business Broadcaster of the Year, each on more than one occasion.
He read Politics, Philosophy and Economics at St John's College, Oxford, where he was editor of the student newspaper, Cherwell. He then went to Harvard where he obtained a Master's Degree in Public Administration.
