American writer and former policy analysist
Dinesh D’Souza was born in India, but moved to the United States in 1978. After graduating from Dartmouth College, he moved to Washington DC to become the Editor of the conservative journal Policy Review, before briefly serving as an analysist for the Reagan administration in 1988. He has since served as John M Olin Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, and the Robert and Karen Rishwain Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.
D’Souza is the author of many books including: The Enemy at Home: The Cultural Left and its Responsibility for 9/11 (2007), What's So Great About Christianity (2007) and the influential Letters to a Young Conservative (2002). He also makes frequent television appearances and contributes articles to a number of publications. The New York Times Magazine recently named him one of America's most influential conservative thinkers.
