Nick Cohen is a columnist for the Observer and New Statesman. He is the author of Pretty Straight Guys (2003), a history of Britain under Tony Blair, What’s Left? How the West Lost its Way (2007), and Waiting for the Etonians (2009). A collection of his journalism, Cruel Britannia, was published in 2000.
