Investigative journalist and author who has published books on Robert Maxwell, Richard Branson, Mohamed Fayed and Conrad and Lady Black
Tom Bower is an investigative historian, writer and former Panorama reporter. He is the author of eighteen books, including Nazi Gold (1997), Conrad and Lady Black: Dancing on the Edge (2006), and a 2004 biography of Gordon Brown. His book Broken Dreams: Vanity, Greed and the Souring of British Football won the 2003 William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award. Bower worked briefly as a barrister before joining Panorama, and is an award-winning producer. His production credits include The Confession, a documentary about the MI6 double-agent George Blake.
