Author and journalist
John R Bradley was educated at UCL, Dartmouth College and Exeter College, Oxford. He started his career in journalism, working as a foreign correspondent in Jeddah and as a senior editor at the Al-Ahram Weekly in Cairo. He has written extensively on Saudi and wider Middle East issues for many publications including The Economist, The New Republic, The Daily Telegraph, Prospect and The Independent. Bradley is the author of Saudi Arabia Exposed: Inside a Kingdom in Crisis (2005) and Inside Egypt: The Land of the Pharaohs on the Brink of a Revolution (2008).
