Journalist and author
Godfrey Barker is a journalist and author. He is the arts correspondent for The Evening Standard and a contributing editor of the paper's magazine. He has written for a number of publications, including The Daily Telegraph, The Times and, The Economist. Barker broadcasts for BBC Radio 3 and 4, for BBC TV and for the BBC World Service. He has worked as a journalist on ITN News at Ten and The Daily Telegraph (1992-1997) and has served as an art market advisor to Conservative arts ministers from 1982- 1997. Barker published Vanity Fair: The Rich and The Price of Art in 2008.
