Dr Belinda Brooks-Gordon is a Reader in Psychology and Social Policy at Birkbeck, University of London. She has a BSc from Middlesex University, and an MPhil and PhD from the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on psychological, legal, and social policy issues surrounding sexuality, gender, and the law.
Brooks-Gordon is author of The Price of Sex: Prostitution, Policy, and Society (2006), and co-author of Sexuality Repositioned: Diversity and the Law (2004, with Loraine Gelsthorpe, Andrew Bainham, and Martin Johnson).
