Author
Tash Aw was born in Taipei to Malaysian parents. He grew up in Kuala Lumpur and moved to England, where he attended the universities of Cambridge and Warwick. He trained as a lawyer in the City before becoming a full time writer. He is a frequent contributor to the BBC specialising in South East Asian literature, film and culture.
