Architect, writer, and broadcaster
Robert Adam is an architect and co-founder of Winchester Design in 1977, now know as Robert Adam Architects. He founded the Popular Housing Group in 1995, the International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture & Urbanism (INTBAU) in 2000, and is Chair of College Chapters for INTBAU (UK). He has also written extensively on the subject of architecture, including a book about classical design and a children’s book on architecture. Adam is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, an Elected Brother of the Art Workers’ Guild, and a Senior Fellow of the Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment (Heritage). He has served as Honorary Secretary of the RIBA (2001-2003), and Trustee of the RIBA Trust (2003-2006).
