Writer, analyst, and religious scholar
Reza Aslan, is a writer and scholar of religions, he is Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at University of California, Riverside, Editorial Executive of Mecca.com, an on-line community for Muslim youth, and Middle East Analyst for CBS News. Aslan's first book No God but God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam (2006) was a New York Times Bestseller and was short-listed for the Guardian First Book Award in the UK. His book How to Win a Cosmic War: Confronting Radical Islam: God, Globalization and the End of the War on Terror was published in 2009.
