In his new book, Hot, Flat and Crowded, he reframes the debate about our global future and explains why the world urgently needs a green revolution. Friedman has travelled to the farthest reaches interviewing people at every level of society, and he tells stories that vividly make clear that the revolution we need is like no revolution the world has seen. It will be the biggest and hardest innovation project in history, but the payoff will be much more than cleaner air - it will inspire us to summon all the intelligence, creativity, boldness and concern for the common good that are our greatest human resources.
