The Rococo style, which flourished under the auspices of Louis XV and Madame de Pompadour, is loved by some and mocked by others. Do you think this exuberant and animated style, of which Boucher was a master, is the supreme example of decorative harmony? Or do you believe it to be too frivolous for words?
