‘Speaking in front of a crowd is considered the number one fear of the average person. Number two was death. Death is number two? This means to the average person, if you have to be at a funeral, you’d rather be in the casket than doing the eulogy.’
Intelligence Squared is known for bringing the world’s best orators to its stage. Now, in response to popular demand, we have launched a series of evening courses that will teach you to hone your speech-making skills and give you added confidence and poise whenever you speak in public. After the success of our first course last October, we are staging our next one in March.
Whether you’d like to express yourself more persuasively in everyday life or boost your ability to stand up and speak in front of a crowd for professional purposes, our team of expert coaches will work with you in small groups to show you how to get your message across with impact, and help you think quickly and creatively under pressure. The course is designed both for newcomers and for those who attended the previous course and would like to build on what they learned.
The course will take place at The Royal Institution on 9th March 2017 from 4pm to 8pm.
