The Intelligence² Bloomsbury Book Club

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with the Bloomsbury Institute, with whom we will be presenting a special season of book club events with Bloomsbury’s most outstanding authors. Nadine Gordimer, William Boyd, Ben Macintyre and Edmund White will be with us for a spring season of intimate and exclusive evenings full of discussion and debate.

William Boyd discusses his forthcoming book, Waiting for Sunrise, at the first event on Wednesday 22nd February. Waiting for Sunrise is set in Vienna in 1913; as Lysander Rief begins an affair with a beautiful young woman, he embarks upon a feverish and mesmerising journey through wartime Europe.

The Book Club will be hosted at the Bloomsbury Institute in Bedford Square in the heart of Bloomsbury. Tickets cost £30 including wine and a signed first edition hardback in advance of publication, or £100 for all four events and books in the spring season.*
