Pope Pius XII was Hitler's pope

The Vatican Congregation for the Causes of Saints is considering the case for the beatification of the wartime pontiff Pius XII (1939-58). But critics have accused him of being anti-Semitic, culturally Germanophile, rabidly anti-Communist and conspicuously silent about the fate of Europe's Jews.
